KUB to Host Public Meeting for Depot Avenue Area Water Transmission Line Project

Posted: 10/23/2017
KUB will host a public meeting Monday, October 30, starting at 6 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church/Fellowship Hall, 201 Third Avenue, to discuss an upcoming Century II 36-inch water transmission line project scheduled to begin this fall in the Blackstock Avenue, W. Fifth Avenue, W. Depot Avenue, Patton Street, and E. Summit Hill Drive areas.

The public meeting will start with a brief presentation outlining the scope of the project and the construction process. Following the presentation, KUB representatives will be available to talk with customers one-on-one regarding their specific questions.

Construction will start in November 2017, with overall completion scheduled for May 2019.
