KUB crews will close a short section of the northbound, curbside lane of Broadway at the W. Jackson Avenue intersection from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, and Thursday, January 19, as work is performed on the natural gas distribution system in the area as part of the utility portion of the ongoing Streetscapes project in this area.
One northbound lane, the center turn lane (no turns onto W. Jackson Avenue), and both southbound lanes will remain open during this time. All lanes will reopen to traffic outside of listed work hours.
Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction.
Appropriate traffic control measures will be in place at each location to assist motorists traveling in these areas.
Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use caution and expect temporary delays in these areas.
