KUB crews will implement lane closures on a short section of Chapman Highway between Overbrook Drive and the southernmost intersection of Fronda Lane and Chapman Highway between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., on Tuesday, July 26, and Wednesday, July 27, as work is performed on the natural gas distribution system in the area.
Approximate daily timeframes for lane closures are:
• 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. – Southbound, curbside lane closed (one southbound lane, the center turn lane, and both northbound lanes will remain open)
• 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. – Northbound, curbside lane closed (one northbound lane, the center turn lane, and both southbound lanes will remain open)
Flaggers will be on-site to assist with traffic control, and follow-up advisories will be issued as necessary.
Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction. Appropriate traffic control measures will be in place at each location to assist motorists traveling in these areas. Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use caution and expect temporary delays in these areas.
