Inskip Pool will be closed today and probably tomorrow (Friday, July 15, and Saturday, July 16) due to a damaged pool motor from Thursday’s storm-related power outage. An outside contractor is currently repairing the motor.
Joe Walsh, the City Parks and Recreation Director, says staff anticipates reopening the pool on Sunday, July 17. Hours of operation for Inskip Pool are 1-6 p.m. on Sundays.
Ed Cothren Pool, the City’s other outdoor pool located at 1737 Reynolds St., is open Friday and Saturday between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
