Free CarFit Check on April 23

Posted: 04/07/2016
CarFit is an educational program to help 50 and older drivers work better with their car and increase their safety on the road. Trained CarFit staff will ask a few simple questions and complete a 13-point checklist with you and your vehicle. The entire process only takes about 20 minutes. You will be provided a list of recommended car adjustments, if needed, and a list of resources aimed to keep you on the road safely.

The best part? The TRACK! You will get to test your driving skills on KPD's state-of-the-art driving track prior to your free CarFit check. Once you have finished with the CarFit check, you can experience the track again.

If you are 50 and older or have a loved one who is, please share this with them. It will make a difference in their safety on the road.

The free CarFit Check will be held on April 23, 2016, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Knoxville Police Dept., Phil Keith Training Center, 6388 Cement Plant Rd., Knoxville, TN 37914.
