To facilitate the installation of overhead lines near the Middlebrook Pike overpass, KUB, its traffic control contractor, and local authorities will implement a series of intermittent rolling road blocks on I-640/I-40 between 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., on Sunday, June 16, beginning at the following locations:
I-640 Westbound beginning at Clinton Highway I-40 Eastbound beginning at Papermill Drive I-40 Westbound beginning at Alcoa Highway
Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction. Appropriate traffic control measures will be in place at this location to assist motorists traveling in the area. Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use extreme caution and expect temporary delays in this area.
