On March 4th at the 2011 "Art Speaks" Knox County Elementary Art Show, Mayor Brown presented a Proclamation declaring March as Youth Art Month during the First Friday events.
The Nation recognizes March as Youth Art Month across America.
The Elementary Show will be on display at the Phoenix Building downtown Gay Street until April 24th.
Some of the student's art will be on display to represent their schools from participating schools.
On display as well are new additions this year: K-12 winners, honorable mentions, and other flag entries from the state of Tennessee.
