Beginning September 14 and lasting through Friday, September 23, KUB and its contactor will implement daily lane closures from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the vicinity of the Chapman Highway/Moody Avenue intersection.

Lane closures are as follows:

Southbound Chapman Highway will be reduced to one lane between Martin Mill Pike to just beyond the Moody Avenue intersection (the left turn lane onto E. Moody Avenue and one thru lane on Chapman Highway will remain open at the intersection)

Northbound Chapman Highway will be reduced to one right turn lane and one thru lane at the intersection

Eastbound E. Moody Avenue will be reduced to one lane between Chapman Highway and Hedge Apple Lane

One of two left turn lanes [center lane] from E. Moody Avenue onto Chapman Highway will be closed (the remaining left turn lane and the right turn/thru lane from E. Moody Avenue onto Chapman Highway will remain open)

These lane reductions will only be in place daily Monday-Friday as part of ongoing wastewater system upgrades, with all lanes reopening during overnight hours and on weekends.

Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction. Appropriate traffic control measures will be in place at each location to assist motorists traveling in these areas. Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use extreme caution and expect temporary delays in these areas.
