Hundreds Attend Trevor Bayne Rally

Hundreds of fans braved the weather to celebrate the Daytona 500 Win of Knoxville native Trevor Bayne today at the Knoxville Coliseum.

Bayne was honored by Knoxville Mayor Daniel T. Brown with a proclamation claiming the day as"Trevor Bayne Day." Additionally the City presented Bayne with his very own green street sign labeled "Trevor Bayne LN 21 - No Limits 2011 Daytona 500 Champion."

Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett presented Bayne with a proclamation from the County proclaming the day as "Trevor Bayne Day in Knox County."

ESPN's Jerry Punch emceed the event.

Jerry Caldwell from Bristol Motor Speedway and Steve Smith from Food City presented a special made Bristol Motor Speedway skateboard to Bayne.

U.T.'s Conredge Holloway presented Bayne a number 21 orange football jersey with Bayne's name on the back of it.

Eddie and Len Wood of Wood Brothers Racing spoke at the Rally.

Central High School Select Choraliers presented the National Anthem and Pastor Bryan Wright of Fairview Baptist Church presented the invocation.

The Bristol Motor Speedway trophy was on display as well the Daytona 500 trophy that belongs to Bayne.
