The aquatics division of the Parks and Recreation Department will hold canoe tours on Saturdays through October 2011.
City aquatics officials take participants on the Holston, French Broad and Tennessee rivers from Seven Islands Wildlife Refuge and Holston River Park to Gov. Ned McWherter Park/Riverside Landing.
Cost per person for each canoe trip is $20 for the Holston-Tennessee River tour and $40 for the French Broad-Tennessee River tour.
No experience is required, however all participants must be able to swim.
