The City of Knoxville will be hosting the second session of its Summer Playground Program for children ages 6-to-12-years- old beginning next week.
The cost is just $15 for city residents for the session, which runs from July 11 through August 4. Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at 12 local recreation centers.
Children are offered a variety of recreational activities, including swimming, canoeing and field trips to the Knoxville Arts and Fine Crafts Center. Participants are provided lunch each day at certain locations.
