The City of Knoxville will release the lineup for this year's Christmas in the City celebration at 5 p.m., on Thursday, October 28 in the Krutch Park Extension in downtown Knoxville.
Representatives from many of the groups, organizations and businesses sponsoring events during Knoxville's annual holiday celebration will also be present.
Christmas in the City is a citywide holiday celebration that takes place in November and December.
It includes dozens of events ranging from outdoor ice-skating on Market Square to dazzling light displays, a great Christmas parade and dramatic performances, concerts and Christmas services.
