The Calvin M. McClung Historical Collection is the local history and genealogy department of the Knox County Public Library System. The Knox County Archives contain historic court records, deeds, marriage certificates, tax lists and other vital records including wills and estates.

Despite this reduction, KCPL continues to maintain considerably more public hours per week than the average library system serving a comparable population. The administration remains committed to keeping all library locations operational.

The new schedule is listed on the library website: www.knoxlib.org.
