City of Knoxville offices will be closed on Monday, January 15th in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Waste Connections, the city's household garbage collector, will run its normal schedule. There will be downtown trash collections from 12 am - 4 am on Saturday and regular hours on Monday, January 15th.The city's recycling centers will remain open through the holiday.The city's Solid Waste Management Facility, located at 1033 Elm Street will be closed on Saturday, January 13 through Monday, January 15th.
